KFC Releases New Chicken-Flavored Nail Polish

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - The popular fast food chain KFC is taking their slogan of "it's finger lickin' good" and making it a reality by releasing a line of edible fingernail polishes for their fans in Hong Kong.

KFC and ad agency Ogilvy & Mathers teamed up to develop two separate shades/flavors of polish incorporating the restaurant's "secret" blend of herbs and spices.

The two flavors currently on the market are "Original Recipe" and "Hot & Spicy".

Anna Mugglestone, a marketing and communications director for Ogilvy & Mathers, told the New York Times, "Yes, it is actually a real thing."

"I tried it myself in the office when they were doing testing. It tastes like chicken," Mugglestone said. "It's crazy, I don't know how they do it."

The fast food chain's chicken may in fact be"finger lickin' good," but would you really want that taste on your fingers following you around for days at a time?
