Keep Kids Learning This Summer With At-Home Experiments From The 'Dancing Scientist'

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Keep the kids busy this summer with science!

Jeffrey Vinokur, known as the "Dancing Scientist", stopped by KCAL9 Wednesday to demonstrate cool science experiments to do at home to keep learning during the summer.

Here are some examples:

1. Fireworks in Milk

It's an easy experiment which uses milk, food coloring and soap. It's completely safe and gets a definite WOW reaction.

2. DIY Levitation 

Vinokur does a variation of this technique using a common plastic pipe, beach towel and plastic bag from the grocery store.

3. Quick Finale Experiment: Making Instant Snow

Add water to a powder, and BAM, it appears to turn into snow! The material is available from most dollar stores and is used in diapers.
