Kayaker Hit By Boat, Killed In Marina Del Rey

MARINA DEL REY (CBSLA) —A kayaker was killed after being hit by a boater in Marina del Rey Monday.

Emergency crews responded to the scene at the north entrance, south of the jetty, around 1:15 p.m.

The victim has been identified as a female.

Sheriff's deputies and the Coast Guard are investigating but deputies say there is no evidence of a crime.
