Katy Perry Casts Her Vote Early In Norwalk

NORWALK (CBSLA.com) — Early voting is underway in California, so pop superstar Katy Perry voted Tuesday – two weeks before Election Day -- at the Los Angeles County Elections Office in Norwalk.

Perry -- who donned a sparkly American flag duster – cast her ballot and waved to fans who were likely shocked to see her at the county Registrar-Recorder's office.

Perry posted pictures and video of herself submitting her ballot on Instagram, declaring unabashedly she had voted for Hillary Clinton. Perry sang at the Democratic National Convention in support of Clinton, and has also been vocal in urging people to vote.

For the next two weekends before Election Day, the Registrar's Norwalk office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Los Angeles County Elections Office is also offering five more early voting locations.
