Jurupa Valley vegetation fires remains at 2 to 3 acres
A vegetation fire broke out in the Jurupa Valley, near Limonite Avenue X El Palomino Drive, with officials reporting that the one acre blaze grew into an estimated two to three acres.
As the fire burned in the riparian river bottom, flames extended to a Rite Aid store where firefighters were to able to contain it to the roof of the structure.
Fire crews responded to the brusher at around 5:48 p.m.
Officials with Cal Fire report that there were two minor injuries, one civilian and one firefighter. Both were transported to the hospital.
