Judge Rules Suit That Alleges Starbucks Underfills Its Lattes May Proceed, Report Says

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A judge has ruled two Californians may proceed with their suit that alleges Starbucks, Corp. underfills its lattes, according to a published report.

Siera Strumlauf of San Francisco and Benjamin Robles of Carlsbad filed the proposed class-action in California federal court back in May.

The pair accuse the coffee-giant of underfilling lattes and have set forth multiple causes of action in their suit.

According to Reuters.com, a federal judge recently ruled that the suit may proceed but did not rule on the case's merits.

Starbucks told CBS Los Angeles back in May it was aware of the plaintiffs' claims, "which we fully believe to be without merit."
