Juan Uribe Back To DL With Injured Hamstring

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Dodgers third baseman Juan Uribe has been placed on the 15-day disabled list because of tightness in his right hamstring.

It is the second time this season that the 14-year veteran has been sidelined because of hamstring problems. Uribe missed 34 games from May 21 through June 26, and the club went 20-14 in his absence.

Uribe, in his fourth season with the Dodgers after signing a two-year, $13 million contract extension in December, is batting .291 with six home runs and 35 RBIs in 81 games. He turned 35 years old in March.

Uribe is the seventh different Dodgers player to have gone on the DL this month alone, including shortstop Hanley Ramirez and pitchers Josh Beckett, Hyun-Jin Ryu, Paul Maholm, Chris Perez and Paco Rodriguez.
