Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 7)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — We are still on track for a little wet weather here in the Southland.

For the wide majority of folks, it will be anything from just a trace of rain to a quarter of an inch. As you move into some foothill communities and higher elevations, totals could reach more than half of an inch.

We do have the chance for a thunderstorm as this upper level low passes overhead, which will bring heavy downpours with higher rainfall rates.

Snow levels will drop down to about 5,000 feet, but there will be little if any accumulation.

Temperatures will be topping out in the low to mid 60s today and tomorrow, so expect cool and breezy conditions.

We will be warming and drying for Mother's Day Weekend.
