Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (May 12)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The warm weather is upon us. Look for temperatures into the 90s Monday with the off-shore flow taking hold. That also means high fire danger as well.

Red flag warnings are in place. The high pressure will continue to build through the work week bringing some very warm temperatures — especially in the San Fernando Valley where there could be highs in triple digit territory.

The peak of this event will be Wednesday. Look for warm temperatures all the way down to the beach with this dominate high and off-shore flow. That pressure center will break down for the weekend and we will get some relief.

Basin - low 90s

Coast - mid 80s

Valleys - low to mid 90s

Mtns - upper 50s

Deserts - low 90s
