Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (March 2)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) – Just as expected, there was a little bit of everything with this latest system. And we are not done yet!

Most of Saturday was dry, then as the low finally moved through there was rain and snow; however there were varying amounts. At times there was sunshine, then the heavens opened up . . . then the sun came back.

Just to give some perspective, the Santa Monica airport got 2.61 inches of rain. Just down the road, at LAX there was only .26 of an inch.

Monday will again be a mixed bag of weather. While the sun is shining a bit Monday morning, the atmosphere is still quite unstable as a secondary low is rotating down the coast giving a chance at the same kind of pattern — sunshine...instability...sunshine...cool temperatures.

Keep the umbrella handy and keep your ears tuned for the possibility of any nasty weather that pops up.

Things settle down Tuesday as we dry out and temperatures warm up.

In fact, by the end of this work week there could be some 80s.  And the good news for those that felt they lost a Sunday, next weekend looks lovely.
