Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (March 19)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — It's shaping up to be a mild hump day. Temperatures should be slightly warmer than Tuesday and well above seasonal averages.

Expect some cooler weather Thursday as a series of troughs move into the West Coast. Thursday, by the way, is the Vernal Equinox, so expect some cooler weather for the first few days of spring with an increased on-shore flow that will bring temperatures down, kick up the cloud cover, and stay breezy in the afternoon hours.

The marine layer could be thick enough to squeeze out a little drizzle on Friday. By the beginning of next week, a ridge builds in, so look for warmer weather on Sunday and Monday. By the middle of next week, another trough moves in, and this one could be potent enough to bring some light measurable rain to the region. We'll cross our fingers.

Mtns - mid 50s
