Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (March 11)

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — The weather forecast is all over the place over the next few days — it will cool down a bit Wednesday, then bump up a bit Thursday then kick into a high gear over the weekend.

There is a weak frontal boundary that will pass through the Southland Wednesday. The front will bring some measurable rain along the Central Coast; however as it rounds point conception, look for the moisture to dry up for the most part.

Expect a stray sprinkle through the middle of the day here in the Los Angeles area. Later in evening as the front pushes east, things will clear out quickly behind it.

By Thursday morning, look for the off-shore flow to kick in and expect some gusty winds. Right now there are no advisories, but it is possible an advisory could pop up.

The big story, however, will be the warm weather headed our way. Look for a 10-degree bump in temperatures Thursday, but by the weekend the off-shore flow combined with a big dome of warm air will bring possibly record breaking heat.

We will cool off a bit by the middle of next week.
