STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — It looks like the atmosphere is starting to settle down a bit, however there is still the slight threat of a thunderstorm in the mountains and deserts.
There's some debris from what was once Tropical Storm Hernan streaming through the region. That will make for just partly cloudy skies for the next couple of days. Humidity levels won't be quite as oppressive.
Temperatures will run pretty warm Tuesday with highs in the upper 80s in the basin and 90s and 100s for the valleys and deserts.
By Tuesday night, there is an indication that a coastal eddy will spin up. That will mean a little more marine layer, which will bring the temperature down a few degrees at the beach and in the basin.
Still the moisture from Hernan passes through Wednesday before the skies become hazy and sunny for the rest of the week.
Look for the next thunderstorm threat later Saturday into early Sunday. Not a major threat, but a threat nonetheless.
