Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Jan. 9)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The low clouds and fog Thursday morning will eventually clear out. Daytime highs will top out a little cooler than Wednesday, meaning it will be the first day out of the last 16 with temperatures that hit below average.

But, it is a one-day affair. Look for warmer weather Friday as an off-shore flow kicks in Thursday evening. The northwest winds will kick up enough to warrant a wind advisory.

There will be a slight drop in temperature on Saturday, but then from Sunday into next week look for more warming with temperatures in the mid- to upper-70s.

Basin - mid to upper 60s

Beaches - low 60s

Valleys - mid to upper 60s

Mountains - upper 40s

Deserts - upper 50s
