Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Jan. 25)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The skies have cleared nicely today and our temps popped into the upper 70s.

Look for some cooling tomorrow as a short wave drops into the area. We will see increasing cloudiness through the day tomorrow. Highs will reach into the upper 60s to low 70s. While that is cooler than what we had this week...it is actually around average for this time of year.

Then on Monday the high builds back in and we will warm things up again. In fact we'll have 80s Tuesday, Wednesday and maybe in spots on Thursday. There are some indications that our pattern may be shaking up next weekend. The high pressure appears to be receding and that will mean at least a stretch of cool weather. However, the forecast models are still pretty dry, so for now, still no rain.

• Basin - upper 60s to low 70s

• Beaches - low to mid 60s

• Valleys - upper 60s to low 70s

• Deserts - upper 60s

• Mountains - mid 50s
