Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Feb. 4)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The cooler breezy weather continues for Southern California. Temperatures are running about 4 to 6 degrees below average.

A broad trough is carving itself out throughout the western half of the United States. That's going to bring in varying high cloudiness from time to time Tuesday. The clouds clear out Wednesday, but fill in again by Thursday morning.

In fact, Thursday there is a slight shower chance by the evening. While there is a wave of moisture rotating through the bottom of the trough, there isn't a whole lot of lift, so expect very light rainfall totals. Probably .10 inch or less.

Friday will remain cool, and then there's a warm up for the weekend as high pressure builds in.
