JetBlue Among Most Spacious When It Comes To Legroom, Publication Finds

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A publication recently ranked the major airline carriers based on legroom.

Among the most spacious domestic airlines was JetBlue, according Condé Nast Traveler, which found that the carrier offers 33 inches of legroom for every seat.

Virgin America and Southwest Airlines followed with 32 inches each.

Next in line were Delta, American, and United airlines with each averaging 31 inches of legroom.

Allegiant Air came in at the bottom of the list as it offers only 30 inches for legroom. Frontier and Spirit both offer 28 inches, but according to the publication, Spirit's seats don't recline.

As for international airline carriers, Aeromexico has the most legroom with 34 inches, followed by Asiana, Air India and Air Tahiti Nui, which each offer 33 inches of legroom per seat.
