Jeremy Lin Sprains Ankle In Saturday's Practice

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - The Los Angeles Lakers have caught the injury bug early into the preseason.

The team announced that point guard Jeremy Lin sustained a mild sprain on his right ankle during Saturday practice.

"I think Robert Sacre kind of stepped on him when they were playing 5-on-5," said Scott. "Stepped on the ankle and just kind of turned him a little bit that way. So we'll see how (Lin) feels tomorrow."

Lin will be looked at again on Sunday to see if he'll be able to play Sunday night against the Golden State Warriors.

Lin will join Ryan Kelly (hamstring), Nick Young (thumb), Xavier Henry (back) and Jordan Clarkson (calf) on the injury report.
