Janet Jackson Delays 'Unbreakable' Tour To Plan For Pregnancy

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Janet Jackson says she is postponing her "Unbreakable" tour to have a baby with her husband.

The 49-year-old singer posted a message on Twitter Wednesday morning announcing that all future tour dates have been postponed due to her doctor's orders.

"My husband and I are planning our family," Jackson said in her video message. "Once again, thank you to all the fans for your undying love. Your loyalty means so much to me. I have not forgotten about you."

The singer's statement acknowledged she will continue the tour as soon as she possibly can.

The "Unbreakable" tour was previously postponed last December when Jackson needed to have an unspecified surgical procedure.

The tour was originally launched Aug. 31.
