Jackknifed Big Rig Forces Closure Of WB 210 Freeway In Pasadena

PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — A big rig carrying 16,000 pounds of clothing jackknifed Wednesday morning, shutting down the westbound transition lanes of the 210 Freeway.

The accident happened around 3:20 a.m. and forced the California Highway Patrol to issue a Sig Alert, the agency said.

No injuries were reported.

The transition lanes, which connect two sections of the 210 where it intersects with the Ventura (134) Freeway, were closed until 7:30 a.m.

The CHP is investigating weather as a cause of the accident.
