Island Packers Now Offering Whale Watching Tours To Channel Islands

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Now is the perfect time to go whale watching!

Co-owner of Island Packers Cherryl Connally visited the KCAL9 studios Monday to talk about their whale watching adventures to Channel Islands National Park.

Gray Whale watching season is currently running through April, while Blue and Humpback whale season is June through mid-September.

As of January 15, two Humpback Whales, over 130 Pacific Gray Whales and over 10,000 dolphins have been spotted during trips.

Island Packers offers 3-3.5 hour trips, six days a week from Ventura or Channel Islands. Half day, non-landing wildlife viewing trips are $37 for adults, $33 for seniors and $27 for children.
