Pie Checkpoint: Irvine Police Hand Out Tasty Treats To Drivers Ahead Of Thanksgiving

IRVINE (CBSLA) – Instead of handing out citations at a checkpoint near Ridge Valley and Great Park Boulevard, Irvine police officers handed out pumpkin pies to lucky drivers.
Officers spread holiday cheer Wednesday, one day before Thanksgiving.
It was a way for officers and staff to thank the community.
