Investigation Underway Into Officer-Involved Shooting In Corona

CORONA (CBSLA.com) — Investigators were talking to neighbors to determine what happened during an officer-involved shooting in Corona.

The incident unfolded in the 5600 block of Westchester Way Monday afternoon, prompting authorities to shut down the street for several hours and evacuate area homes.

Those in the area said they heard four or five shots, though no one was hurt.

The suspected gunman was arrested and taken to the hospital for observation, authorities said.
