Investigation launched after deadly stabbing in Pomona

An investigation is underway after a man was found stabbed to death in Pomona on Wednesday. 

Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Pomona Boulevard at around 8 a.m., where they arrived to find a 40-year-old man suffering from stab wounds, according to the Pomona Police Department. 

The victim, identified as Armando Salina, was declared dead at the scene from sharp force injuries, according to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office. 

Investigators have not yet revealed information on a suspect or motive in the incident.
