Investigation Continues In La Verne Double Homicide

LA VERNE (CBSLA.com) — Detectives continued their investigation Sunday into locating a possible suspect accused of murdering a La Verne couple in their home.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, detectives will continue searching for clues on foot and on horseback, alongside K-9 units throughout the day.

Deputies explained they were sent around 1:25 p.m. Friday to a home located in a gated community in the 300 block of Roughrider Road for report of an unresponsive couple.

Once on scene, deputies located two victims suffering, from what was initially reported as stab wounds, near the entrance of their home.

The groundskeeper reportedly found the couple, officials said.
