Internet Roundup: Small Plane Lands On Busy Irvine Street

Imagine you're just sitting in your car at a stoplight, waiting for it to turn green, when a single-engine plane drives through the intersection.

That's exactly what happened to one driver who just happened to be right there when a small plane made an emergency landing Wednesday on surface streets near John Wayne Airport on Sept. 16.

New video posted to YouTube captured the landing as it was recorded live on a vehicle dashcam.

The driver then continues recording and follows the plane onto Red Hill, where it ultimately came to a full stop.

No injuries or damage to the plane were reported.
