Bleeding Inmate In Handcuffs On The Loose In Downtown Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police are searching for an escaped inmate in Downtown L.A., near the junction of the 110 and 10 freeways.

The L.A. County Sheriff's County says the man is in handcuffs and bleeding.

The suspect reportedly head-butted his way out of a deputy cruiser shortly before 9 p.m.

He was last seen running southbound through a parking lot.

The LAPD has joined the search.

Police warn anyone who spots the man to call 911 and that they not approach the suspect.
