Police Pursuit In Inglewood Ends In Multi-Vehicle Crash, At Least 1 Injured

INGLEWOOD (CBSLA) - A short police pursuit in Inglewood ended in a crash Monday night causing at least one person to be transported with injuries.

According to the LAPD, officers went into pursuit of a possibly stolen white four-door sedan with paper plates at around 8:50 p.m. in the Hyde Park area.

The pursuit ended quickly when the white sedan with three people inside ran a red light and crashed into an SUV at La Brea Avenue and Fairview Blvd. in Inglewood.

The crash caused the SUV to veer off into a building, and an LAPD unit collided with the white sedan.

No officers were injured in the crash and the three people inside of the white sedan were taken into custody.

There were reportedly multiple people transported to a hospital but it was unclear as of late Monday night how those people were involved in the accident.
