Man Fatally Stabbed, Another Critically Wounded In Inglewood

INGLEWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives Thursday investigated the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a man in Inglewood.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, deputies were sent shortly after 8:00 p.m. Wednesday to the 5000 block of West 111th Place.

Upon their arrival, authorities located two adult men suffering from apparent stab wounds.

Paramedics transported both men to a hospital.

One of the victims succumbed to his injuries. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.

The second victim remains listed in critical condition at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
