In-N-Out Selling Shoes Inspired By Its Logo, Cup Design

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) -- In-N-Out Burger's iconic cup design can now be worn as a slip-on shoe.

The popular Southern California burger chain announced its new release this week on Instagram with hearts as the image backdrop, signaling to customers that this may be the Valentine's Day gift they've been looking for.

The "Drink Cup Shoes" feature the palm tree print and also have an In-N-Out logo on the heel.

It's a bit costlier than your typical burger.

The shoes are selling for $64.95 on the chain's website.

Other In-N-Out branded apparel includes hats, socks, shirts and onesies.

In-N-Out fans are known for their fierce loyalty to the chain.

Early last year, design company Puma got in hot water after people pointed out that its "Cali-0 Drive Thru" sneakers appeared to have been inspired by In-N-Out's logo and colors.

In-N-Out opened in 1948 as California's first "drive-thru" hamburger stand.

It ranked as America's favorite burger chain in Market Force's 2018 QSR study.

The restaurant has since expanded to open locations in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas and Oregon.
