1 Dead, 1 Wounded In Fillmore Shooting
FILLMORE (CBSLA.com) — Two people were shot, one fatally, near a party in Fillmore.
Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a gunshot victim laying on the road on Grand Avenue Saturday evening just before midnight.
Upon arrival, the deputies discovered two victims were shot.
An 18-year-old sustained fatal injuries. A second gunshot victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The male adult laying on Grand Ave. was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's identity has not been released by the Medical Examiner's Office, pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities said there are no suspects in custody.
The investigation is on-going.
