Hyun-Jin Ryu Placed On 15-Day Disabled List

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Moments after news broke that Dodgers pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu had been scratched from his scheduled start on Wednesday due to a reported discomfort in his elbow, the team decided to place him on the 15-day DL with elbow tendinitis.

The team has not yet announced who will be replacing Ryu for Wednesday's start, but all signs are pointing to newly acquired Bud Norris.

On the upside for the boys in blue, outfielder Joc Pederson has been reinstated and will most likely start in the outfield against the Washington Nationals.
