Hunt On For Tire-Slashing Vandal In Silver Lake

SILVER LAKE (CBSLA.com) —  Authorities are on the hunt for a tire-slashing vandal in Silver Lake.

Officials say the vandal has struck more than 40 times just this month.

They believe the same person is responsible for all the acts of vandalism because the tires have usually been slashed in the same way.

Residents say covered parking in the area is limited so they have no choice but to leave their cars out.

Neighbors say they have set up a neighborhood watch program to try to catch the vandal in the act.
