Huckleberry Chef Shares New Cookbook & Bakery Secrets

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Chef and Restaurateur Zoe Nathan visited the KCAL9 studios Monday to talk about her first cookbook, Huckleberry: Stories, Secrets, and Recipes From Our Kitchen.

The book features more than 115 recipes and gorgeous photos from Huckleberry and a behind-the-scene look at the buzzing Santa Monica bakery.

The cookbook also features how-to sequences for mastering basics, such as flaky dough and lining a cake pan, with recipes that span from sweet (rustic cakes, muffins, and scones) to savory (hot cereals, biscuits, and quiche)—so it's an excellent educational tool for beginners and seasoned home cooks alike.

Zoe is the co-owner, along with her husband Josh Loeb, of the Rustic Canyon family of restaurants including Rustic Canyon, Huckleberry, Milo & Olive, and Sweet Rose Creamery.
