4 Injured In Massive House Fire In Glendale

GLENDALE (CBSLA.com) — A fire gutted a two-story house in Glendale Monday and left four people with minor injuries.

The fire in the 2000 block of Dublin Drive was reported at 5:17 a.m., said a fire dispatcher. A dog died in the fire, according to reports from the scene.

The flames were extinguished within about an hour, but firefighters remained on scene dousing hot spots afterward.

Three Glendale police officers suffered minor injuries while rescuing a woman from the burning building, the Glendale Police Department reported. The woman also suffered a minor injury.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
