Woman Found Dead In Rossmoor House Fire
ROSSMOOR (CBSLA) – A woman was found dead in a burning house in the Orange County community of Rossmoor near Long Beach early Monday morning.
The fire was reported before 6:30 a.m. in the 12500 block of Martha Ann Drive, according to the Orange County Fire Authority. Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy flames and smoke.
A woman was found dead inside the home, OCFA reports. Her name was not released.
A man was taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation. He was in stable condition. A firefighter was also rushed to the hospital with a leg injury. He was also stable.
It took crews about 40 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
Investigators were on scene looking into the cause. The exact details of how the fire was discovered and spread and the extent of the damage to the home was not confirmed.
