Homicide Investigation Underway In Big Bear Lake

BIG BEAR LAKE (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives investigated the death of a 25-year-old man in Big Bear Lake on Friday.

Shortly after midnight, deputies discovered a man lying in the roadway around 8:30 a.m., located in the area of North Starvation Flats Road and Big Bear Boulevard, according to the Big Bear Sheriff's Department.

Paramedics transported the victim to Bear Valley Community Hospital where he later died. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.

Detectives said the case is being investigated as a homicide.
