Homicide Detectives, Police Probe Death Of 6-Month-Old Girl In Hawthorne
HAWTHORNE (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a 6-month-old girl in Hawthorne.
LA County Sheriff's Department detectives are currently assisting the Hawthorne Police Department, authorities said Sunday.
The death was reported in the 12100 block of Birch Avenue just before noon.
The deceased, a Latina, was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
There is no further information available at this writing, 11 p.m. Sunday.
