Homicide Detectives Investigate Stabbing Death Of Man In Highland Park

HIGHLAND PARK (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives Wednesday investigated the stabbing death of a man in Highland Park.

Just before 2:30 a.m., officers were sent to the 5900 block of North Figueroa Street, near Avenue 59, for report of a cutting, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Upon their arrival, paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.

Detectives have not provided any suspect descriptions.

The investigation is ongoing as the motive for the attack remains unknown.
