Homicide Detectives Investigate Fatal Shooting Of Man In Mid-City
MID-CITY (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives Tuesday were investigating the death of a man in Mid-City.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded shortly before midnight to the 1800 block of Longwood Avenue.
When they arrived on scene, they located a man in his 40s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
"We're not sure what the victim was doing in the area at that time," LAPD Det. John Skaggs said. "We do know there were other people outside on the street that we have no identified or talked to yet so we're at the early stages of the investigation, and we'll see what we can develop."
No suspect information was released.
