Homicide Detectives Investigate Fatal Shooting Death Of Man Killed On His Back Porch
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — LA County Sheriff's Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of a man on the 11800 block of Berendo Avenue.
The victim was outside of his residence, on his back porch, when an unknown suspect(s) approached the victim and shot him around 1 a.m. Sunday morning. The victim retreated inside his residence where a 911 call was made.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect fled the area prior to the deputies' arrival.
