Homeless Man Beaten To Death In Downtown LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – An investigation is underway into the beating death of a homeless man in downtown Los Angeles early Friday morning.

At around 2:30 a.m., Los Angeles police responded to the 7th and Main streets to find a victim with blunt force trauma injuries lying next to a pickup truck.

Paramedics were called out and attempted live-saving procedures, however, the victim died at the scene. He was not immediately identified.

There is no suspect description and no motive in the killing.
