Caught On Video: Suspect Steals Sound Board From Recording Studio In Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Detectives sought the public's help Thursday to identify a burglary suspect who stole a sound board from a recording studio in Hollywood.

Around 3:45 p.m. Saturday, a man entered a recording studio located in the 6600 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, claiming to be a repair man, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The suspect then picked up a large sound board, placed it in his dark colored four-door sedan and drove away before an employee could verify his claim.

Detectives described the suspect as a bald African American man who is in his 30s, stands 6-feet tall and weighs 250 pounds.

The investigation is ongoing.
