Man Pistol-Whipped During Home Invasion Robbery In Hollywood Hills

HOLLYWOOD HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Police Saturday searched for two robbery suspects who pistol-whipped a man inside of his home in Hollywood Hills.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the home invasion robbery took place shortly after 3:30 a.m. at a residence located in the 2600 block of Astral Drive.

A preliminary investigation revealed two robbers entered the home while the victim was with acquaintances.

At one point, the robbers -- who each wore a ski mask and a bandana -- assaulted the man and stole property before they fled from the scene in a Nissan Maxima.

According to police, the vehicle was later found in the area of Nichols Canyon Road and La Canstana Drive.

Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital for treatment of a head laceration. He remains listed in good condition.

No arrests have been reported.
