Hiker Stranded In Tree Rescued From Bronson Canyon

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles firefighters and urban search and rescue personnel have rescued a hiker stranded in rugged terrain in the Bronson Canyon.

A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman said they received a call at approximately 9 p.m. Saturday about a man stuck in a tree 250 feet down a rugged hillside around the 3200 block of Canyon Drive.

Rescuers used a specialized rope system to pull the man to safety.

No injuries were reported.
