LAFD Rescues Hiker After Fall In Studio City

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA) -- A woman in her 50s was rescued by helicopter in Studio City off Coldwater Canyon and Mulholland on Sunday night after a hiking injury, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The 54-year-old appears to have injured her neck and leg after a fall. Her name was not released.

She was hoisted into an LAFD helicopter at about 8:20 p.m. to be taken to UCLA Medical Center in the Westwood area.

No further details were provided.
