Highway 101 Slimed After Shipment Of 'Slime Eels' Dumped During Crash
DEPOE BAY, ORE. (CBSLA.com) — There were no ghosts, just lots of writhing eels that slimed an Oregon highway Thursday.
A shipment of hagfish, a Korean delicacy also known as slime eels, were making its way to Korea when the car transporting them became involved in a crash.
There were no injuries in the accident, just a lot of slime all over Highway 101, which stretches all the way from Los Angeles north to Seattle.

A video from the Depoe Bay Fire District showed a bulldozer was used to clear the road of the eels and slime, clearing the road by 4 p.m. But…

Crews and officers at the scene will probably not forget the sight of so many eels and so much slime anytime soon.
We're signing off for the evening, but I doubt we'll sleep tonight because...#eels
