Hemet Man, 33, Killed In Hit-And-Run Identified

HEMET (CBSLA.com) —  Officials with the county coroner's office have identified a pedestrian killed Friday in a hit-and-run accident in Hemet.

Michael Villalpando, 33, of Hemet, was killed about 9:30 p.m. Friday at State Highway 74, east of Lake Street in Hemet,
according to the coroner's office.

Villalpando was hit by a driver who fled. Officials said the vehicle has been located and towed, the Riverside Press-Enterprise reported.

The California Highway Patrol's San Gorgonio Pass office is investigating the incident.
