Yes, It's Still Going To Be Hot Across Southern California On Sunday
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Sunday is expected to be the hottest day this week with gradual cooling starting Monday, meteorologists say.
Craig Herrera, a weathercaster for CBS Los Angeles, says excessive heat warnings remain in place as do heat advisories for parts of the Southland.
In fact, excessive heat warnings remain in place through 9 p.m. for California City, Barstow, Victorville and Lancaster.
Heat advisories are in place for Ventura and Los Angeles County mountains, as well as the Inland Empire. the San Bernardino Mountains, and the valleys. Those advisories will expire at 9 p.m.
Temperatures include the following:
Beaches: 68-74
LA/OC: 84-90
Valleys: 93-98
Inland Empire: 96-102
Deserts: 105-110
Mountains: 82-86
A cool-down is expected by Monday with temperatures dropping significantly by Tuesday.
