Hearing To Determine Guardianship Of Paul Walker's Daughter Delayed

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A guardianship hearing for Paul Walker's teenage daughter has been postponed at the request of an attorney for the late actor's mother.

Attorney Bela G. Lugosi said Thursday lawyers are trying to work out an agreement on who should care for 15-year-old Meadow Rain Walker. The "Fast & Furious" actor's will calls for his mother to serve as her guardian, however Meadow Walker's mother, Rebecca Jo Soteros, is still alive.

Soteros has not filed any motions opposing the guardianship. Lugosi says both sides hope to have an agreement before the next court hearing on April 30.

The teenager has been living with her grandmother, Cheryl Ann Walker, since her father's death in a fiery car crash in November. Investigators have cited unsafe speed as the cause of the accident.
